Thoughts:

Nick has always loved yo-yo's, but has never quite been able to figure them out. He has tried and tried, but always ends up frustrated. So when Aerobie sent us the AeroSpin Yo-Yo to try, I couldn't wait to see how it differed from other yo-yo's on the market.  Right away, we were impressed with the adjustable gap as it made basic play much easier. Although with the yo-yo being adjusted further apart made it more difficult to use, the closer you adjusted it, the better it got. The high performance ball bearings made the AeroSpin Yo-Yo react so much better than any other yo-yo we have tried in the past, as the yo-yo returned almost every single time. It did take Nick several tries to get the hang of it, i think it will take a while to be like a pro though...even Jonathan got in on the action!

The AeroSpin Yo-Yo also comes with a step-by-step 36 yo-yo tricks book with easy to follow directions and also includes pictures. With the book having the pictures, it made the tricks so much more understandable and easier to do.  Nick wanted to go straight to the "walk the dog", but I kept explaining to him that he needed to start easy...he still has several tricks to practice, but he has already picked up on some and is looking forward to learning more...

There are many yo-yo's that have discouraged my son in the past, but because of the Aerobie AeroSpin Yo-Yo, Nick feels free to play and learn. So if you're looking for a yo-yo that can be played with by anyone, no matter what skill level, I recommend the AeroSpin Yo-Yo.

Right away I loved the different flavor packages...I opened the Summit Trail Mix to snack on while I was on the computer...well needless to say soon it was gone!  We love trail mix...these bags of Fisher Trail mix are a great size to keep in the car or toss in my bag and it has a re-closeable zip top so you don’t have to finish the entire bag in one sitting.

We tried all 5 flavors above through out the week, and loved them all.  My hubbies favorite was the Sweet Nut Trail Mix !  It was a nice mix that he enjoyed to the last bite.  The boys loved the Cheddar Trail Mix because they love cheddar crackers and these were quite tasty.  I would serve these at a family parties (like birthdays, 4th of july, etc.) instead of greasy chips .... there is something for everyone to love! 

The Tropical Trail Mix I thought was a great one to have on for that morning snack your toddler always wants :).

Chicka Mama Baby Boutique -Review/Giveaway-

Have you ever heard of a little site called ETSY? Chances are you have!  I've heard of Etsy for years, but I've never actually logged on to see what they have until recently...I love supporting small business, and I love homemade items!!  I have my favorites (i'm glad i can favorite them) so i can't tell you how excited I was to get to work with one of the boutiques!

Danielle Stakel is the owner of Chicka Mama Baby Boutique on Etsy...I loved her style, and handmade baby items.  Danielle sent me a custom burp cloth, and bib...

The patters she chooses are so cute!  I love the un-traditional nature of the patterns & colors, the monogramming, and the soft back of the bib! Thick, absorbent, and very soft for that baby-soft skin. The entire cloth is machine washable and you will want to throw it in the washer after any major spit-up session. The material is very absorbent which is great for preventing any stray drips from getting away. But you will want to wash it soon after to prevent any bacterial build up or odors, just as you would with any traditional burp cloth. To make sure you always have one at the ready it might be a good idea to have two or three on hand.  Diapers are preshrunk and will continue to get fluffier and softer with each washing. Designer fabric top-stitched to the bottom section, making it easier for a quick wipe using the absorbent diaper.  Your babys only little once...why not provide them with the best :)

CVS Pharmacy Photo Canvas -Review/Giveaway-

I've always wanted the boys pictures on a canvas print, but i was worried about the image quality ... & what would it look like for price I can afford?!  I was super excited when CVS gave me the opportunity to review one of their canvas's!!  I choose a picture that i took of my first son when he was a baby...

And this is what the Canvas looks like...

The color is better than it looks...My house is just dark, and i didn't want to drowned it with the flash!

One thing I forgot about when looking for an image...and it worked out ok, is that there is cropping on your image, to be able to wrap it around the full canvas.  So keep this in mind when you get a canvas print.  Thank goodness online it lets you see what it would look like before you order!

Nick loves seeing his picture up there...on proud display...now i just need to order for the other two!!  Then maybe a larger Family print...IDK...I'm super happy with the canvas & image qualities...I couldn't have asked for a better canvas image to put up on my wall!  THANKS CVS!

Another thing i learned is that they have Birth Announcements & Invitations...Such a cute & affordable way to announce the arrival of your bundle of joy!

And starting at $.65 why wouldn't you!!  I can't wait to order some of these adorable cards :)

Don't get me wrong, I can appreciate all types of shoes, but I tend to buy a certain brand of tennis shoes.  It's not as if I have anything against the other brands, It's just a brand that i have come to trust, and know they fit me properly...even though I have that favorite brand, I found a new tennis shoe that I just had to try...New Life Shoes make a Maternity Tennis Shoe!!  Who would have guess a shoe just for preggers :) .I got my shoes just about two weeks ago, and have traded out my favorite brand for these...

Thoughts:

I've been wearing them for about 2 weeks now, The shoes are easy to put on, and adjust.  You slip them on, then pull the side strap to tighten.  The sole has just enough cushion to keep your feet comfortable all day.  The only thing that was a little annoyance...was the strap that crosses the toe area...but when I'm not in my tennie's I'm in flip flops, and i think that has a lot to do with it..I'm just not used to the to restrictions.  Other than that It is a very unique strap design that is very useful in the later stages of pregnancy!  I would give these shoes two thumbs up for comfort, and ease of use.

These are a great addition to my "non" maternity brand!  i will sport these even after my feet quite swelling!

Baby Genius DVD -Review/Giveaway-

 

My boys love to play with their toys and let me tell you they have a bunch of them - You can't even see their floor today!  Little one only being 32 months old has so many toys that he has a cube system, and a toy box full of toys.  There are a few that are his favorites like his Kitchen, and little cars.  There are also times that he doesn't want to play with his toys and will sneak into his older brother's room to go grab something to play with.  But lately he has been into DVD's, he already knows how to put them in...he just needs help hitting play (i'm sure he'll pick that up soon enough).  We recently received two DVD's from Baby Genius that he couldn't wait to watch!
