This is a fun book with guilty pleasure appeal. As you read it you wonder how is this not fiction...well it's not, it's her life, and as I'm rolling on the floor laughing I kind of feel bad for Marla, as she had to deal with all the picky demands of her clients. She changes the names and such, but the characters and events are real. The reality of it makes it even more entertaining, how could people really be like this!!  Much of it is very humorous and actually reminded me of some tv comedy's I've watched.  My hubby and kids didn't understand the outbursts of laughter... Along with the mismatches, she also helps arrange some good connections that work.  The Diary of a Beverly Hills Matchmaker is and enjoyable read that can make you happy for who you are and what you have.

Is a spech delay my fault?

We started to notice, that my middle son was having speech problems around when he was two (i think) he just wasn't pronouncing some letters right when he was talking.  He is now six and it's getting harder to help him...he's in speech at school, but that's only a once a week 30min session with two other children.  How much help could that really be?!  Now my youngest who is now 27 months is having speech problems...we started his therapy through ECI when he was 18 months old, I'm seeing some improvement, he' now where I think an 18 month old would be, and missing some key sounds...he very intelligent, and is ahead cognitively (other than speech) and physically...now I can't help wonder if I did something wrong...we read stories..I NEVER used baby talk, we always explain things, and give options ie: would you like "Milk" or "Juice".... I just don't know what to do anymore, I'm getting so frustrated, and I know they are too!

Quixx Headlight Restoration Review

I know I mentioned Quixx USA earlier this month, and we gave away some Quixx Wax...well guess what were doing it again!!

I recently tried the Quixx Headlight Restoration Kit and Lens Sealer, I have to admit, i was skeptical at first...you always see the commercials, but do the products work like they say...is it really that easy...the answer is YES!

 

It took us less than 20 min to do both headlights...just follow the directions, the kit comes with everything you need (except the tape) all we needed to do was firmly polish the lens to a mirror finish using the QUIXX Headlight Polish, the polishing cloth and the rubber block. The firmer you press and the faster you polish, the sooner you are done.  I am completely happy with the results!!  Now we need to do the Hubby's ... let me tell you, a new headlight could cost you around $200 each!!  This is such an easy and cost efficient way to revitalize your headlights!!  It's hard to buy your man Valentines day gifts sometimes...why not get him the Quixx Headlight Restoration Kit and Lens Sealer, it's so useful!
