As a parent you want whats best for your children, and keeping them healthy is a big part of it. But when your child does happen to get sick, a big help is having a thermometer to keep track of their temperature....I have been through several over the years trying to find a good fit for my kiddos. We have a digital thermometer for the older kids, and adults. And for when they were younger I've tried the rectal (what baby would like that...ewww), and the ear, but they don't sit still long enough to get a reading. I was excited to when Vicks asked me to review their new Behind the Ear Thermometer.

at a more convenient time for me to use, because within the week that I go it the kiddos got sick!! Lovely. So I was able to put this to the test right
away.
There’s a quick start guide in the packaging that shows you how to
use it, and in 30 seconds you’ll get the hang of it. It’s SO easy, you
just turn it on, it counts down 10 seconds to being ready and then you
just touch the sensor behind the earlobe, press the button and bang,
instant reading. You don’t have to wait and try to hold it there while
your kid are arnary and wiggling, it’s instantaneous. And then the readings are
color coded so you can quickly tell if your child (or you, obviously you
can use this on anyone) has a fever. Green = no fever, yellow = slight
fever, red = yikes! fever.
Vick’s provides a lifetime warranty under normal use, so that is good to know (with three boys you never know what will happen!). I think we finally have a winner...it's everything you need in a thermometer - Fast, accurate, convenient, and all this from a brand you can trust!
