If you have a young kid, you know the name K'Nex! And while this is true, we have never purchased any for the kiddos. It was always legos, prob just because that's what we grew up with. Man what we have been missing! K’Nex are perfect for any child that loves to build –
and the greatest part is that there is a huge variety of K’Nex products
available. There are Monster Jam sets, Nascar sets, Sesame Street sets
and now MarioKart building sets.

We all sat down, I gave each of them one to do....and assembled all of these sets except the Grave Digger, that was for daddy to do. I have to say that all the products were fairly easy to
assemble {keep in mind age}. It kept them busy for a while,
and once they were assembled, they took them apart to do the other side of the instructions...the two "Classics" - have a few ways they can be assembled!
I gave the Best Friends Building Set to my 30 month old, he had absolutely no issues
with putting this together...he even had fun mixing and matching the
body parts. Great motor skill toy, very durable...no small parts {only
3 pieces per character}. I Would recommend to any parent with young
children.
I gave the Rally Sports Racer to my 6 year old, while the box says 7 he's played with legos so i thought there would be no problem. While he had no problem building...it wasn't from the
plans...he would rather build on his own, because the plans were
frustrating him. I'm sure hell get it, my 9 year only had no problem.
He loves playing with it {after it's built} ;)
This is a great option if your looking for a gift for a boy. My 9 year
old loved the fact that there were two options to build. Once he did
one, he tore it apart to do the other. Once he was done building he used it for imaginative play...flying it around the house, dropping
"bombs".
I can’t tell you how much we love K’Nex. They
are great for helping build motor and cognitive skills for kids at all
different age levels. My boys have spent hours and hours playing with their K’Nex and I’ll take that over tv any day!
