Making meals for a toddler is not always a joy. Some day's he really doesn't want anything I make. He's not so much a picky eater, but it seems more like a stubborn 2 yr old...testing my limits. He’s actually a pretty good eater, he'll usually eat salad, corn, spaghetti, and some other things...but for lunches he typically asks for a peanut butter sandwich {but then doesn't want to eat it}...it's soooo frustrating when you spend your time cutting up a sandwich or an apple {to make it bite size} just to have him dump them out on the floor... I was recently lucky enough to get to try FunBites... I knew that this product would be a fun way to prepare Chris's meals/snacks, hopefully making him happier about it!
FunBites is a hot, new kitchen tool designed to help moms create fun, bite-sized foods
for their kids. Instantly cut a variety of foods into tiny cubes or
shapes that will make mealtime fun for even the pickiest little eater!
~ FunBites have been featured on Parenting.com, CBS Morning News and in REAL SIMPLE magazine as an item to simplify your life! ~
FunBites makes it easier, cleaner and just more fun to prepare your toddlers food...This handy kitchen tool can do it in less than 10 seconds. Plus, FunBites can be put on the top rack of the dishwasher to clean! Anything dishwasher-safe is a winner for me.

But the best part is FunBites is not just for kids! You can use it to easily cut up foods for appetizer trays!
Instead of buying one of those pre-made, pricy, party trays at the
grocery store { like we normally do}, I can just buy some cheeses, fruits, meats and breads to
create my own....I plan on doing this this weekend at my moms 50th Birthday Party!!
~ Made in the USA ~ BPA Free ~ Top Shelf Dishwasher Safe ~
FunBites comes in two styles,
the Cube-It! and the Luv It!. We had the opportunity to review the Cube
It!, which creates small cubed bite size bits. The first thing I noticed when I received the FunBites was the
edge wasn’t sharp to the touch, which is great for my little chefs! I have an apple slicer and it is so
sharp that there is no way that my children will be able to use it
anytime soon. FunBites is made from food grade delrin; a crystalline
plastic that has an excellent balance of properties that bridges the gap
between metals and plastics. The FunBites is much more practical for
a little chef to help with, although little hands should still be supervised!
I was excited to try it out. I figured that
his daily peanut butter sandwich would be a good place to start, so this is
how it works.
Step 1: Place FunBites cutter on top of food. Remove popper top and set aside.
Step 2: Grab handles on both sides of the cutter, press down, and firmly rock back & forth 5-6 times to cut through the food.
Step 3: Insert popper top, lift the cutter up, and push down popper to pop out the fun-shaped bite-sized pieces!
You can get so creative in presenting your food! With the heart shape, you can make sail boats, and with the cubed you can make fun checkered board sandwiches...I thought it was the best part.
I can't wait to see how this company will grow and hopefully in the future they will have some new shapes soon, or some cute holiday themed FunBites! The kids are waiting to see what shapes they come out with next, to have "fun" with their food!
