doTERRA Essential Oils -Review-

When you get sick, or think of your health, most of use automatically reach for the Pepto or Motrin...well what if you could take care of it naturally?  I had heard of essential oils before, but I had never tried them...I thought they were just in massage oils or aroma therapy.  I never new you could replace your medicines with them!

Essential Oils are the most powerful forms of plant medicine. In fact, they’re about 70 times more potent than herbs! We want every family around the world to experience them for themselves. We want YOU to feel empowered, and to have the knowledge to take care of your family and loved ones in a safe and natural way.

I recently got to try Wild Orange - I Love the smell!  I used to add orange peels to a pot of boiling water to fill the air with the sent...I never knew inhaling the wild orange sent would help with Anxiety!!  Other common uses - Take with water to calm your appetite or to help with digestive problems...Some Key Properties - Antidepressant, Antispasmodic, Anticancer, Tonic, Antiseptic, and Sedative.  With that many uses, and being all natural why wouldn't you keep these around the house!!  Next I would love to try the Peppermint and Deep Blue {see above}, or maybe some Frankincense Essential Oil that will help me Relax!!  I highly recommend doTerra Essential Oils to keep up on your health and well being,  The Wild Orange has really helped with my anxiety!

About Wild Orange:
Wild orange essential oil is the wise choice when it comes to household cleaning agents.  Unlike harsh petroleum distillates that can irritate the skin and leave behind noxious fumes that irritate the throat and lungs, wild orange essential oil cuts through grease and grime like a hot knife through butter, and leaves behind no toxic fumes or unpleasant rash on the skin.  As a flavoring agent it has no equal in making Lady Baltimore cake or a homemade Orange Julius.  In Southeast Asia and in Central America wild orange essential oil is put into standing water to prevent the introduction of mosquito larvae.  The Tamils of India traditionally scent the bride with rose water and wild orange essential oil during the wedding ceremony; it is considered to bring good luck and excellent health. In many cultures it is the first and foremost scent in aromatherapy.  Robert E. Lee, the famous Civil War general, was given the very first bottle of wild orange essential oil produced in Florida in 1862.  The Florentines of Italy long had a monopoly on the essential oil, having invented a secret process for distilling the oil without making it turn bitter.  This process was finally discovered by an American traveling through Italy in 1854, and brought back to the US for use in furniture polish and sherbet ice flavoring.
